Echinacea on Wood - Monday, July 2nd, 2007
Susan pointed out that this resembles the echinacea plant, so I’ve decided to call it “Echinacea on Wood” rather than “Flower on Wood”. Pretty descriptive, right?
Perfect for reading poetry under, this piece is also easy to hang at 12″ x 15″.
Newsprint & marker, wheat pasted on cheap plywood.
Interesting tidbit: Echinacea’s wikipedia entry is apparenty not a neutral one. Why people can’t come together and offer an unbiased opinion of this plant is beyond me. Here’s a screenshot of the entry, just in case the Echinacea dispute is ever resolved.
